How should performance claims be handled?
Require the supplier to identify the source, test method and conditions for a claim. A quote should not silently turn an unverified performance statement into a project requirement.

What is the buyer review?
The technical reviewer checks compliance, interfaces and open data. The commercial reviewer checks price, validity, delivery and exclusions. Engineering sign-off remains a separate project responsibility.
