Use the project schedule and specification for rating, voltage, frequency, impedance, vector group, cooling, enclosure, accessories and tests. Mark every field that remains preliminary.

How should supplier alternatives be handled?
Ask for a base response and list alternatives separately. Record the technical, programme and commercial effect of each alternative before comparison.

What remains open until review?
Protection settings, design suitability, acceptance criteria and final engineering approval remain with the responsible project team. The RFQ structure does not select or certify equipment.

No. It structures comparable responses. The buyer applies the approved evaluation basis and obtains technical and commercial approval.
Can a blank supplier response be treated as included?
No. Mark it open, excluded or requiring clarification according to the approved evaluation rules.
